Full Print Design

Designing for print is a far more demanding task than designing virtual covers. As a result we have to charge a premium for this service to cover the extra time required to complete a design to the standards you demand. As a result the price for a Full Print quality design is:

$200

 

Please note, this price doesn't include the cost of Stock Photography. While we are able to absorb the cost of stock photography on virtual box design, this is not possible for print design. The reason is that stock photography for print is vastly more expensive.

1. A complete print quality design, ready to print and slice into the perfect DVD insert.
2. A .PSD file of the design you can edit in Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

It's worth noting that the ability to print the packaging for you product and physically package it opens new marketing horizions. You'll now have a product you can market as a gift!

 

Designing for Print vs Virtual Packaging

Designing for print is different to designing virtual boxes. Why? Everying has to be much higer resolution, otherwise it looks blocky or smeary when it's printed out.Because of this there are also other considerations to bear in mind. Stock Photography is great and we love it. Our favourite stock photography site is Istockphoto. It's possible to buy high quality stock photos for use in virtual boxes for just a few dollars. However, all stock agengies charge much, much more if you plan to print and distribute a DVD, CD, Book or Box that uses stock photography. As a result, we'll always be upfront about the use of Stock Photography and how much it costs.
